Sharon Larson

Ocularist (COO Intern – American Society of Ocularists) Founder, Ocular Care Prosthetics LLC

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from SUNY Polytechnic and have always been passionate about art—especially painting and sculpting. When I couldn’t find an apprenticeship in the U.S., I pursued hands-on training in Italy and Argentina, where I learned the craft of ocularistry through direct patient care and artistic mentorship.

In Argentina, I had the privilege of creating custom prosthetic eyes for several patients—many of whom became like family. That experience deepened my commitment to restoring dignity and confidence through precision-crafted ocular prosthetics.

In 2025, I was accepted into the College of Ocularistry, the educational division of the American Society of Ocularists (ASO). As a COO Intern, I am now undergoing formal certification through clinical workshops, mentorship, and continuing education. This training complements my international experience and ensures that every prosthesis I create meets the highest standards of artistry, comfort, and anatomical accuracy.

My mission is to help individuals regain their confidence and quality of life through prosthetic eyes that reflect their unique identity and restore self-expression. I believe in combining technical excellence with compassionate care—because every eye tells a story.
